Default 1.8T or V6?

Looking at getting 97 model A4 but unsure as to whats the best option in regards to engines.

The V6 makes more power and torque (from memory) than the turbo but i'm think would be more potential with the turbo engine, what's you guys opinions??

Cheers

Mark

Very easy answer.

The 97 V6 (if in the US) is a 12v with no real bhp gains to be had and on chips.

The 1.8T well you can push them up to as much as 500bhp but a nice 230-240bhp for not too much money.

If your goner get a V6 then you want the 98' 30v enginge and bung on a PES supercharger.

Next time use the search button as this as been coverd a million times.
