1.8T w/ automatic???
it's a 2001.5, no tip. but i'm mainly concerned about the trans being auto. as oppossed to manual. what do you think about the auto. trans. for that type of engine? oh yeah, it's quattro too.

Depending on what options it has that's not bad at all. I Googled Kelley Blue Book and entered the info you posted and it gave me $17,653.00. Can you get the repair history for the car?
Performance is relative. It will depend on what you currently drive.
I own a 2001 1.8T with Tip. My previous car was a 1996 Honda Civic EX 5-Speed.
With the A/C on, the Audi is quicker than the Honda with A/C off.
