14.2 quatermile sound right?
ORIGINAL: auditech79
I could only get 14.2 in my SRT-4 when i had it. With a 100 shot of nitrous i was getting around 13.6-13.8, maybe i suck at launching the stupid FWD CARS [:@]

Getting back to 1/4 mile times and whatever... I have an aluminum flywheel.. came with the car not installed, I was gonna put it in but I've heard unless you wanna drive the car like you're launching from every light its just not worth it. Is it really that bad? and does it make a big enough dif in a 1/4?
a slightly heavier steel fw will be more streetable and have less chatter
Bondga - yep, fwd. After new urathane mounts were installed, i get great launches and no wheel hop

what weight is it? the stock is 24 lbs, i have 14 lb and the only difference is it revvs a bit quicker. it wont be a shitty drive unless you get like down below 10 lb's.
and whoever was talking about having different times in the same or similar car, 1/4 mile runs are a lot mroe talent than most people think. expecially with 2wd cars, i have seen someone run 14's in a camaro, his dad get in then the car did 12.9. and if your in a manual, its even more talent oriented.
