brrman posted pics of his car with 18s on stock suspension. it actually didn't look nearly as bad as i thought it would. you'll probably be ok without lowering it, but it would definitely look much better lowered a bit.
RE: 18" wheels, do I have to lower?
def lower it, looks too high, as everyone else said. don't be cheap and shell out money for coilovers, cuz if you do just springs, you'll screw up the shocks... on that thought, don't buy cheap wheels either, as I hate to see Audis with like BSAs on them, or FLIKS. well i am planing on getting FLIKS maybe. not every1 has a the money to spend 200 bucks a wheel or more.
RE: 18" wheels, do I have to lower?
Fliks are fine. They're relatively heavy, and kinda cheap looking, but they won't bend or break, you don't care if you curb them, and they are super duper cheap.
I know what you're saying. I kinda feel dirty they way my car is now. I'm going to try to pick up some sweet wheels on eBay for spring/autocross season and keep my ghetto-*** Fliks for winter.

I already said I rode 17's on stock sport suspension... and wasn't happy. 18's would be worse.

Headshok, how much did you lower on 17's?

I don't know... as much as I could?
Seriously, I didn't do any measuring of my stock height... but when I put the CO's on, I just kept going lower, until it scraped too much to bear. Probably about 1.25" up front, and 1" in the rear lower than sport (which is .75" lower than non-sport to begin with) -- so like 2" front and 1.75 rear... these are rough estimates though.
