Default 18 psi ? ? ?

I have a 97 A4 with TAP stage 1 kit, GHL high flow cat and downpipe, with 3" scorpion exhaust from there. 10mm oversized throttle body 710n and acouple other little things. This morning after changing out my DV hose and cleaning out the intake system and doing the intake box mod, I hit 18 psi on the highway. Is that possible? My gauge was reading 28 vaccuum and 15 psi before, then i had a hole in my dv hose, so my reading was like 20 vaccuum and 11 psi. I fixxed all my hoses and its reading 24 and 18 at WOT. Is there any way that i could be hitting 18 psi on a ko3 or is there something wrong?
thanks in advance.

18 psi is normal for a chipped k03. Why do you think people talk bad about chips for our cars its normal... but not good for it. (end result is a k04 upgrade when your turbo blows)

well of course the more PSI your pushing through your tiny turbo the more it will put strain on it... the less the better but it all depends on how you drive your car as well... take care of it properly and let it cool down after you drive it hard and your turbo will last much longer...

oh and stock turbo with stock programming boosts around 8-9 PSI
