Default 190000 miles and still stong

So my 96' 12v just turned over 190,000 miles on saturday and I was wondering if there is any maitnece I need to worry about. The previous owner put 184,000 on the car and took amazing care of it, but I don't know if there is anything new that I need to do. any help would be appreciated and if anyone knows how to clean an EGR valve for the 12v that would be great too.

coolness.. Proabably a record for the forum. Might want to just replace the EGR valve at almost 200k miles whatever is caked on the inside probably isnt gunna come off too well. Probably a cheap part too. Pretty amazing mileage, post some pics, i want to see what a 190k mile 12v looks like. If you dont have previous records, replace ALL fluids and do a timing belt if you dont know when its been done last.

Cool!

Treat her good, and she'll probably go another 190k!

Anyway, look at the records, and see when the t-belt was last done. Should probably change that every 80-90k along with other belts.
Just keep up with the reccomended service intervals on everything, and you'll be in good shape!

Here's for the 97, I couldn't find the 96 one, but should be about the same.

I got about 165k on my '96 12v... I'm saving for an overhaul, but right now, it's still runnin' strong.
