How reliable is a 96 A4, 2.8, 5 speed, Quattro, with 158,000 miles going to be, it looks to be in pretty good shape, i havent seen in the engine yet which will tell alot but in general how reliable do you guys think it would be, and what can i expect to go wrong soon, also what do you think its worth aprox?

 

if it was maintained properly it could be ok for another 100k miles...if it wasn't taken care of, it's probably garbage. get a compression test and have a mechanic give it a full inspection.
