Default 1996 A4 2.8l engine mod

Just wondering if it's possible or even worth it to slap one or two turbos on my car, '96 2.8 fwd, using the s4 stock stuff and maybe other stuff too. Thanks.

do you have 10k dollars for this project? Do you want to give up every creature comfort of your car? Do you want to get rid of the stock ECU and install a totally new engine wiring harness/stand alone engine management?

sorry no supercharger for the 12v's. i forget what magazine it was in but they spent $90,000 to make a 12v do 13 sec on the drag. that was all NA to. there are no cheep mods for the 12v only thing to do is port and polish everything. you can clickhere for all 12v answers

This is what my brother said........he's a motorhead. Tell me what you think.

Ask them though, if the turbo manifolds will fit your motor. If those do, then I think it can be done.

As for engine management. That will be easy, we can use a Apexi SAFC for tuning. And a electronic boost controller to manage the boost pressure on the internally gated stock s4 turbos.

Also, I wonder if the stock S4 intercoolers will fit behind your front bumper, or if you'd need to buy an S4 bumper.

You'll need a new clutch to handle the power.

Manifolds $700
Turbos $200
Oil lines $100
S4 Intercoolers/piping (maybe some custom piping) $200
SAFC $270
EBC $250
Clutch $400
Downpipes $100
Misc $300
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TOTAL $2520

What turbo manifolds are you talking about? A 4 cylinder turbo manifold on a V6? Post this question at the 12V forum on audiworld.com. I am certain there is no way this will work.
