hey guys,

had a quick question, i bought a 1997 Audi A4 and the previous owner hit a curb right in front of the right rear wheel...now i've tried fixing the suspension, but what happens now is when going through a dip, not to slow and not to fast, my back rear tire seems to like THUD. now could this be a torn up strut or shock not even sure what they have back there...any help would be appreciated.

yoda, not to be a dick, but take off the wheel and check it out...

if all looks fine, get alignment...

 

no worries dude, i've done that and have taken it to 3 suspension shops all three have said three different things to get it fixed, around 1000 bucks each... none of them said to change the strut or shock...they were like change this and that...all those bearings and such. I've ordered the piece hopefully this will take care of it.
