Recently My display between my rpms and mph meters went out, i can see lil dots here and there that are lit up but nothing really displays. If at all possible does anyone know the most common reasons this would happen? Fuses, wiring etc? Ive hit the reset button below my wiper but it just lights up a few lights and still cant see anything. Any insight would be appreciated.

 

My LCD is messed up as well..the lines are everywhere and the top and middle sections are basically impossible to read but atleast i know how far i can go..when i have it on..it mostly just depresses me...anyways i think it has to do with the plugs behind the screen and maybe somehow moisture gets into it? I think this becuase after a very very humid day my screen doesnt work and on days where there is little to no humidity and isnt too cold or hot the screen is better(not perfect but better as in i can read the middle part)..I went to the Audi stealership and got a quote of $1000 dollars to fix it soooo i think i will just turn my screen off so i dont think about it anymore

 

When i purchased my car a few months ago i realized it had the same problem but havent gotten around to getting it looked at...lemme know if u find a cheap fix
