hi done a serch an net but found nothing. can anyone please tell me what is the BHP of a 1998 A4 1.8SE NON TURBO engine

 

I would guess just a tad over 100hp

 

It says here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi_A4(If the source is correct) that a 2.0 non-turbo is running about 130.
Which mean that the 1.8 non-turbo should be running somewhere a little below that.

hi thanks for the replys. im in the uk. town called leicester. well thats made me upset everyone says audi are high performance. 100BHP is not high i had a ford siera with more BHP than that as standerd. what can i do to get more i wanted a chip but they all seem to be for the 1.8T engine

 

they make a 1.8 non-turbo?... guesss you learn something new everyday?

 

I never had any experience or known anyone with a 1.8 non-turbo in the U.S.
I guess one thing you can do is get custom muffler system?

yup, uk model... which really kinda sucks... audi's can be high performance vehicles, but unfortunately for you a custom turbo setup would be the only way to go, lol

 

Is this an all wheel drive model?

Maybe a british S4 has a 1.8t and a british RS4 has a 2.7t

 

the 1.8 se model is europe only and is rated at i belive 110hp.
