Default 1999 A4 2,8 quattro

I am looking in to getting an audi a4 2.8 quattro with a stick. I have been having trouble finding cars with under 65,000 miles. I was wondering is that alot of miles of will it last me long enough (like 4 years)? Also i am trying to keep the car price under $16,000.

Any car will last you a long time if you take care of it, audi's included. Keep in mind that there is a lot of maintenance that comes due right around the 60-70k range (timing belts/waterpump/control arms/o2 sensors, spark plugs). So Make sure those things have been done before buying, otherwise you are going to have to pay for a lot of maintenance (unless you doit yourself).

The car i am looking for is a 1999 audi a4 2.8 quattro. I have some but i am worried about getting one with too many miles. After 60k miles is there any other big problems that i should worry about? Will the car last till about 150k miles. Also i take very good care of my cars, wash them every week and change the oil every tiem is is needed.

Is 14,200 a good price for a 1999 audi a4 2.8 quattro 5spd with 75,000 miles? Is there anything i should check out other than a carfax.

Depending on where your from, the Audi I bought I got a good deal on, it is a 98 2.8Q and only paid 9,500 for it, but keep in mind that I knew the manager to the dealership. I live in WI, so I'm sure if you look around on ebay or even around your city/county I'm sure you could find a deal, it just might take some time.

Make sure that car has had the timing belt changed before you buy!!! It is goign to cost you 600-1000 bucks to have it done and HAS to be changed around 70k miles.
