I'm a newbe here and willing to buy A4. Just have a question before I make a decision.

I'm looking at an used car, 99 A4 2.8 manual. This car looks really great and well maintained by current owner. He said the car has been replaced timing belt, clutch,and all rollers/ water pump. New Control arms, wheel bearings, and also new brakes front and rear both.
The mileage is 120,000. Is this too high for A4? I want to drive it as a commuter for about two or three years from now. So I just want to know how long A4 can go withoutBIG problem.

Sounds like all of the good work has been done already. Make sure and check a carfax, and if it is about $7,000 or less, then go for it.

 

It is about 6000 or so... I think it's a good deal!
