You should have put more emphasis on the "liter" part of your argument, a liter is bigger than a quart.
3.5 liters is about 4.5 quarts.

i would suggest amsoil 10w-40 if you live in a warmer climate and 0w-40 if you live in a colder climate, and always get a OEM filter

 

that makes sense and my bigger filter makes up for the other .25 quarts...problem solved....like I said, magic!

Any oil that meets ACEA A3 should be good for a turbo engine.
