Default 2.8 12v Q upgrade

is it even worth to put money in it?
i want good handling and decent power i need coil overs cause i want to drive in winter ( i'm assuming aluminium or zinc coated suspension pieces is the only way {snow})i need to raise it and lower it once a year maybe a 2.7 tt drop if i can find one. or do i just get a 1.8t and max out the boost ? my friend has a s4 b5 he loves it. but it cost $. my 12v cost me nothing. i dont know keep it stock as a winter beater or do something to it and enjoy it allyear round. maybe a new head 30v?

help me out pros.

Well the 12V is not good at all for power increases. If you want anything over 200hp then ditch the 12 valve.

12v's are for handling, and cruising, dont get me started...i just wrote like a story on 12v's in a recent thread.

the point is, get 5% tint, and a nice system, drop it, get 18's.

that way if anyone wants to race, roll up the 5% so they can see anything, bump the system so they cant hear anything, and roll out in style in your dropped audi on rims, while they drive away in there honda with manual door locks.

It won't be cheap. You'd have to replace every bit of electronics including instrument and full car wiring harness.

1.8t's are good for power, V6's are good for smooth reliable driving.

as far as what...mods? if ur goal is to be fast, and only fast, then get a talon tsi awd, and keep the audi as ur daily driver. lol, but if u want a fast audi, than ur gonna want to get a 1.8t. they respond good to mods, i dont know what ur definition of fast is, but theyre pretty easy to break into the 14 sec 1/4 mile range, which still isnt fast, but its quick
