Default 2.8 and 3.0 PES

Hey, I was flippin around a lot today, and I just remember Jestnomen flippin out about a ****ty supercharger (it never fit... or they never sent... or something). ANYWAY, i'm too lazy to find the thread, and I don't think it was the topic of the thread anyway... so.. check this out:
http://www.giacusa.com/giac_projects.php?pid=8
I just remember it being said that there is NO superchargers.. or chips for the 2.8's; which REALLY has me rethinking the whole 2.8 deal. Anyone wanna verify the validity of this offer for me... and... anyone possibly interested in a group buy in the future?

nope, its been tried. The VR6 and the 12V are not similar David. They both have 12 valves, they arent even situated the same.

Even if you could fit it on there, you would still run into the problem of engine management. You would have to go to a stand alone system costing thousands of dollars. By the time you were done you could have bought an S4.

Definatly. I've learned a helluva lot today alone... and I know a fair bit about cars (American mainly).
By the way.. are there ANY shared mods between the VW VR6 engine and the Audi 12V? Thus, possibly more mods for the 12V than the 30V?

Ehh not really that I know of. The mods for the 12V really arent "off the shelf" type mods. They are more porting and polishing type things.

So if you were given 10K... and told to run out and buy an A4 RIGHT NOW. what would u buy?
I'm seriously lookin at this one http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1663088. It's exactly what I want (My Escape has me hooked on sunroofs.. manuals rock... and V6=slick) What do you think?

I'd probably go out and buy a 98.5 1.8t. With a few mods you can have more HP than the V6.
