thanks a lot for the answers.. the guy sent me the wrong plate that connects the senors to the air filter, so he has to send me a new one and that should take a couple days, so hopefully ill try to get a filter for that thing if i can by then

 

yes it is the secondary air injection pump hose and it sucks air like mad , be sure to use the mid size filter that is able to handle the air flow or it may kill your pump

 

the 2.8 intake is sweeeeeeeet

 

also if youre doing the intake, i would suggest doing the custom heat shield, as i find that there is def heat soak on long hard drives

slightly more responsive throttle... seems to be a bit more mileage outta a tank of gas, and a "sporty tone" while accelerating. at first i really hated the sound, but now i like it

its really a toss up... maybe get just a K&N filter, and like put that money towards something else

 

I have had the evo/lltek intake on my 2.8 for alot of miles now, and now my car bogs out when i give it gas, and if i am at a low RPM my car will shut off. I think the filter shitted out on me because of how hot it gets under there. I am going back and putting the stock box in for now, too much of a hassle with that thing.

I'd do that mod posted if you put an intake on your 30V.
