so i have this friend with stock 83 porsche 944 and he thinks it's so much faster than my stock b5 2.8. so we went to the highway and raced from a 60 roll which i was kind of expecting him to win. we've been trien to go from like a 30 but there's never a time or place but we will soon so i was wondering if anyone here has raced a 944 in a 2.8? he keeps talkin sh** about i think i can win. so just let me know what you guys think

chrispaay and I smoked a 1989 911 widebody from a dead stop in his 1.8T A4 stock... I think he was a shitty driver..

 

and Na 944's are by no means quick but they do have a good amount of torque down low

 

i was thinkin id smoke him from a stop if i was a good driver. he's very experienced and ive only had a 5spd for about 2 months

 

my friend got just got his licence and hes driving an 87 944 with a widened throttle body and we are like the exact speed, i do tho beat him in the corners, especially in the rain....gotta love the quattro[8D]
