It seems that Audi loves to tune down their engines. Getting more than 190hp out of the 2.8 seems doable.

You can get 310 hp with the PSE supercharger, but it's $5K. I've been pondering a few things if I had enough cash to do it.

1.Full exhaust, release around 10 Hp
2. Electric aux. fan, release 10 Hp
3. GIAC Chip, 7 Hp
4. Maybe new injectors and a computer map to run them

If that was all done, you could almost get 220-230 at the absolute most out of a 2.8, but it would be expensive to do.

 

i agree, it does suck. but it is much powerful then the 1.8T
