Hi,
New to this site and find it very good so far.

Just bought my first audi.
Its an A4 2000 1.9tdi 90 BHP

Iam having 2 problems with it

1) The car seems to lack acceleration, In the high gears it performs quite well and motors along nicely, However when im accelerating in the low gears there seems to be no power. Like the turbo isnt kicking in or something, At 3000 revs it seems to come to a stand still, and also going up a hill it losses speed.

2) The car wont start sometimes, It just clicks over, I turn the key off and try again and it starts usually be it after 2 3 4 etc times trying, it starts no problem on ajump start.

Really appreciate any help i can get..

They don't sell the TDI in the states so i don't know exactly how it pulls in the A4.
But for the second problem it sounds like your ground wire is loose or corroded. Try wiggling the ground wire off the battery when it acts up again and see if it starts, check wire connections, and for any frayed wires. More than likely its the ground wire from the battery to the chassis.

90 hp? wow, dont pull out in front of oncoming traffic with this one!
That just doesnt seem safe to me, but I am sure its good on gas!
