Default 2 questions....

My car is as follows:

99.5 Audi 1.8tqm
-Greedspeed snub mount
-Evolution MS Intake
-Evolution MS DV
-Samco DV pipe
-Apr 91 octane chip
-K03 sport ported with bigger turbine

Recently dino'd running right around 230 wheel....

My two questions is occationally when its hot out when I rev to 5200 rpms it hits almost like a rev limiter doesn't make any sence to me at all... All of a sudden boost completely falls off from 16 pounds and motor revs down.... Other times it will rev the whole way to 7 if I wanted too...

Second is where can I get an ecs n75 race valve I can't find them on the site to buy for my car anymore... Or would that be pointless and I should just buy MBC?

Any ideas as for what performance mod next I would like to know... Other than exhaust... I'm looking and I just can't find a deal...

When its hot out your motor is getting bogged down from sucking in all that hot air through the intake, which is where the stock intake works well.

The ecs n75 race is a N75H from the dealership. I think the ones are the dealership are the same price. Don't use a MBC, you will destroy your K03.

So your saying I shouldn't run the EM intake? I have only heard good things about it.... But I mean if thats why my car is doing that I would definatly go back to stock... Can I just call my local dealer and say I need part number n75h?

Well in the heat, thats what would be causing it. Your engine is really hot, the air around it is really hot so the intake is sucking that up. When the car is driving its not so bad, but when sitting in traffic its brutal. Thats where the stock intake is good because it sucks air from in front of the car rather than the engine bay.

As for the N75H, I don't have the part number on me. Try doing a search for my name and N75. One of the guys on this forum gave me the part number as he works for an audi service place. Its from an RS2 or something.

Sounds to me like you are overboosting and it goes into limp mode or closed loop.. After this happens do your boost levels drop to 7-10 psi max until you restart your car??? Sounds like the TB is closing which is what i think happens when you go into limp mode at such high rpm's.. The N75 valve could help it, or it could make it worse, because as it does help eliminate spiking, it also adds a couple psi.. If your gunna go that route, try to find a used one or get a mbc and tweak that mo fo.

You can get it from a Audi (and I think VW) dealership for cheap, part number: N75 034 906 283 H.

Yeah thats true... the thing that caught my eye was "when its hot out"...

Try what onepoint8tee suggested first, disconnect your battery and clear any codes. Or go to autozone and get it done as you could have put your car into limp mode.
