How many of you K04 guys use a turbo timer. I know it will help but is it necissary? Also after light driving for about 30 minutes keeping it under 3000rpm the whole time my K04 glows a little. Normal?

yes its normal for the turbo to glow. remember your exhaust is about 1000deg. a turbo timer isnt necessary but its good to have. or you can just drive the last 30 seconds slowly and maybe wait 5-10 seconds before you turn the car off.

As long as you are willing to let your car sit for a bit while its on after any heavy driving or long driving a Turbo Timer is not needed. I just let me car sit running for 5 or so minutes before turning it off.

woa 5 min is not necessary.

Your right it is excessive and may not be needed but I also enjoy sitting in my car too so its not a big deal for me =)

10-15secs is all you need if you take it easy on the last 2-5mins of the trip, 40secs to a min for when you push it pretty hard, and if your racing, give it a couple mins.
