I bought the audi used from a dealer 2 yrs ago and about 5 months ago the battery failed in the parking lot of my work. I called Roadside assistance & had the car jumped. Eversince the jump, the stareo hasn't worked properly, it only gets 2 radio stations and the sunroof has a mind of it's own, it won't stay open unless I push & hold the lever for a couple of seconds.

Has anyone else experience these problems? Does anyone know how I can fix?

 

i dont know about your ghost roof or radio...., but maybe try disconnecting the battery for a few hours and try again. but im curious about the roadside assistance from audi.... do they come from a local stealership and how long did it take for them to get there, and did it cost anything?

 

when i bought the car, I got an 800 number to call for roadside assistance. When I called for the jump, they located the nearest facility/tow truck service under Audi contract and it took them 1/2 hr., no hassle. However, when I called the Roadside Assistance, they did tell me that my tow or jump would be covered under my warrantee.

 

You prolly had your reading lights n other lights inside the car on. u gotts turn them on when you get boosted cuz ur electrical stuff goes nuts. i had the same problem my headlights wouldnt turn on but after about 2 days it went away. dont ask me where i heard this either cuz i forgot
