2004 A4 3.0 upgrades
I've got an '04 A4 3.0 with the ultra-sport package (underbody kit, RS4 wheels and suspension). I'm ready to add a little somethin'..such as intake and/or exhaust. I don't want my warranty voided. Can I add Audi factory performance upgrades? Do they exist and what's the best way to get them? If I can get Audi parts and it be just as good I'd rather go that route than go aftermarket.
Milltek is begining to work with audi dealers to make their parts available from the dealer. I know of one in atlanta that already does that. Milltek also makes a great exhaust system and a hyperflow intake system which together should yield some noticeable gains.

I stopped in and chatted with them for a hour or so.
For us 3.0 guys.
Giac chip, Intake, and exhaust is about the starting point. After that you need to look at opening up the engine, and deciding if you want to keep it NA or go forced.
if you go forced there is now a supercharger out for it.
the G-3 by pes. 320 hp at the crank.
Other things that might help, Lightened fly wheel, Tuned camshaft, better clutch, stasis center diff, stasis rear diff.
Edit
i forgot to mention that the chip, intake, and exaust are only expected to bring about 12-18 hp depending on what gas you use. street or race gas.
the benifit for us 3.0 owners is that the barriers of the rev limiter, and slow throttle response from drive by wire are eliminated.
this gives us the illusion of more horsepower i am told. Also the already good power curve of our NA motors is maximized for even better effect.
If it was up to me I'd do in this order.
