Is this a feasible idea?

Is this a feasible idea?
So my Audi is being parted out. I have sold a lot out of the interior. Now once I'm done parting it I figured that I would just try to sell it to the junkyard.
New idea: As I was pulling out the center console and seats today I had an epiphany. I'm already stripping out most of the interior, but the whole drivetrain is there, and most of the body panels looks good.
Why not sell it on ebay as a rolling chassis? I mean, I would be surprised if the junkyard gives me $300 for the thing without seats. I figure someone who wants to make a track car can take mine, put in a new engine, a racing seat and a few other things.
Sound like a decent idea?

Sounds like a plan. See if you can find someone wanting to do a VR6T setup like 034 Motorsport, I'm sure now that they've generated some buzz on that you can find some nut who wants to do it himself.
