Default 2005-2008 A4 Quattro

Hey Everyone!!!

I am very new to this forum and I am about to buy my first Audi!!! I was wondering if you could help me out a bit. Looking at 2005-2005 A4 Quattro 2.0turbo. 6 speed manual. I have heard good things about the GIAC X chip and I was told that it won't void my warranty. My friend has a 2007 Mazda Speed6 and it has alot of accelartion off the line. I am wondering if I will have equivalent power once I get that chip. I was looking at dyno curves and it looks like I will. Anyone have any real life experience with that mod on this model?

I hope you can help

Thanks

Hey man,

Ohhh I agree they are fantastic but like I said my friends Mazda Speed6 has alot of snap off the line and stock I don't think the audi could do it but be close but with that GIAC X Chip I think you are suppose to get like a extra 50 horse and 80 pounds of tourque. Can anyone confirm that?

you will beat it in the rainy daysand curves.... Dry road, it will come down to who has the better skills.
As far as chip option, most B7prefers APR. If not, get the one closest to your place for future supports.

you're friend basically drives a Ford. A B7 A4 is a much more refined car than the 6.

I tried a Mazda speed and it's peppy BUT:
[ol][*]It's not AWD[*]The interior is not as classy[*]It's a MAZDA *cough* FORD[/ol]
Get the Audi and let him your friend beat you to the cop up ahead. You can drive past him while he's pulled over.

Hey guys.

So as for the GIAC X chip would I be able to beat that car. Yeah the audi is a lot more refined. The speed6 is awd as well.

Let me know what you think

You cant compare an A4 and a Mazda. They are two completely different cars which offer two completely different experiences. IMO, the Audi is alot more refined, better with AWD, and the interior is miles ahead of the Mazda. The Audi I think offers a better overall experience.
