2005.5 or 2006 A4 3.2 versus 2.0
Im looking at the 3.2 or 2.0T A4 and am not sure if the extra engine power is really worth the cash. I drove both, and would like to get any comments you all may have on the two.
Also. which transmission are you all happier with, the CVT of the Tiptronic...
thanks

My dealer actually eased me away from the 3.2 and into the 2.0T. The difference is noticeable at first, but after spending any amount of time with both cars the difference seems to diminish. You can chip the 2.0T and significantly exceed the performance of the 3.2 and save yourself thousands of dollars.
Oh, and definitely get the 6M. I had a Tip as a loaner for a few days and really missed my manual.

You may be the first or second one to ask which B7 engine to buy.
If you want to keep your engine warranty and ****, and want to go fast, just get a 3.2. Then after the warranty is up you can get an HPA twin turbo kit if you want something faster.
2.0T will get better mileage and probably not be as slow as you think in comparison.
I just realized that the R32/TT 3.2 are not the same engine as the 3.2 FSI. Well, different heads, anyway. Probably. Which is where a twin turbo kit would mount up.

The TT 3.2 is a narrow angle
The FSI is a normal V6 setup
