I'm looking at a 2005.5 Audi with 119k miles. It has had 3 owners, two of which bet the crap out if the car. The owner now who was unaware has out around 3k into it. New transmission, timing belt, cam tensioner, PVC valves, the whole 9. I heard a ticking when the engine is started. A friend of mine says to stay away & it's probably going to take a crap soon. However, I have a feeling it would be a good our have & has a lot of life! Let me know what you think could be wrong. Asking price is 6,500. Thanks.

 

All 2.0T tick at idle and it goes away under power (at least all I have heard). Sure seems like most the big ticket items have been addressed. I would think you could get another 100k miles out of it.
