2006 A4 2.0T - Need the owner's manual and mod questions
Hey guys,
We got an '06 A4 2.0T last night, used (slightly) with 5k miles.
The car didn't have the owner's manual or any books or anything. Is there anyway to download one or get one online? I don't want to have to buy one if I can avoid it. Will the dealer give me one for free?
Also I got an extended warranty (was not purchased at an Audi Dealer btw). I'm wondering what kind of mods, if any, can be done without voiding that warranty?
Thanks!

I'm surprised that a car with that few miles doesn't have the paperwork.
Call the dealer you bought it from and see if they just didn't forget to give it to you.
It is not available on line. You would have to buy one from the dealer or Bentley publishers.
Cosmetic mods will not void your warranty.
Modifications that you don't tell any one about, or the warranty people don't find out about will not void your warranty.
Your car should be covered by Audi until 40K miles or 4 years.
If you modify your engine (ie put in a chip or K04 turbo) the warranty on your engine could be affected if they find out about it.
If you modify your suspension (ie lowering, coil overs) they may not cover failure of control arms or wheel bearings.
Modding your car wont invalidate your entire warranty. the failure would need to be somehow connected to the modification you performed. For instance, if you lowered your suspension, they couldn't deny service for a broken power window.
