Okay...Window Tinting time tomorrow!

How dark should I go???

I think Evo is at 20% and that looks very good. Anyone have problems with the police in SoCal this dark?

Does anyone know the laws in Texas? I'm heading there in a year and a half.

Hmmmmm...???

So did you just remove the tint on the front windows, fix the ticket, and reapply? I understand that it is just a fix-it ticket in CA?
Yeah, I just removed the front tint, got the ticket signed off, then re-tint them. In both my Prelude and Integra, I even have the entire windshield tinted, but they're very light.

Well, I just got the 20% all the way around and it is sweet. Actually, there was another A3 getting the same 20% all around just before me so I got to see the finished product before they started. I'll get pictures in a few days after it cures and I can clean it up nice.

Should have done this on the first day!

Cheers!

I think my window tint is 20%, I'm not sure though because I just went to the shop and told him that I want the dark tint all around. For the past 8 years, I've had 3 window tint tickets, one each in my Prelude, Integra, and TSX. I hope I won't get one for the A4. **knock on wood**
Yeah, dark tint is 20%

It's just a fix-it ticket, I think the fine now is $15. You can have the tint removed, go to the local police station, show them your window and have the ticket signed off with $15. When I went to get my girlfriend's car tinted, they offered an insurance. Incase a cop tickets her, she can go back to the tinting shop and have it removed, take care of the ticket, then back to the tint shop to re-apply the tint

I understand the point of the law. It is so that the officers can see what's going on in the car and evaluate their safety while approaching the vehicle. It just sucks though.
