Thanks for the compliment, I'm anxious to see the video, because I haven't been able to film my car properly yet and see how it sounds from the outside.
I've tried on 2 or 3 occasions to get video with my digital camera and the tiny little microphone inside sucks, so it's always distorted.
As for the race, It was cool to come out ahead in the first race, but if me and Richard went to the track and ran numbers with a timeslip - he'd have me.
No question.

That little rocket of his is violent. I still have nightmares about how angry that thing pulls from 2nd into 3rd gear.

Hope to see you out at the next GTG, if you can't make it, we'll play a hand in honor of Bartvaio's Red Bull.
jeff- you know , if you want to know how your car sounds from outside id be glad to drive it around for you

Rene- good to hear that the car is back on the road, how much did you end up payin for the cv?

The CV joints was ok, only the boot was damaged, so it was a cheap fix (20 dlls for the boot and 30 dlls for changing it)

I'd be happy to let people drive my car if they want, as long as they bring it back in one piece.

Except Nam, of course.
I've seen that nut drive cars and karts and I wouldn't even let him near my Huffy.

As for the buy-in, we can keep it civilized with a simple $20 bill.
If it sounds like a decent idea, we could gather all of the money up, use it to buy pizzas delivered to the office, and whatever's left gets split between 1st and 2nd place.....2/3rds & 1/3rd.

I'm guessing it would be around $200 - $30-$35 for pizza.
1st would get around $110 and second would get $60.

That means for a $20 investment you get a fun afternoon of cards, lunch delivered to you, and and a chance to win a little over 5x your buy-in.

I'm open to any other ideas if someone has a plan.

Good one.

But at 290HP and 330+ TQ, you may want to hold on with both hands.....

Jeff............ it's such a pleasure to have you part of our AF Family, thanks for offering your ofc!!!!
No worries. Happy to do it....
We're a fairly well-mannered group, (When not on a freeway) so I trust that everyone will be cool and have fun.
As I mentioned previously, I only have 2 tables, so can anyone provide one more to make sure we have enough?
I'm pretty sure I have us covered as far as chips and decks of cards are concerned. Just need an extra table-top.

No problem Jeff - I gotcha covered w/ the table top...

b-4 anyone bites my head off - sorry the video hasnt been finished yet..
I've been self-medicating w/ Airborne, water, dayquil & various other meds
to get me back up & functioning.
I apologize for the delays... I'll get to work on it soon though.
