Hi,

As the title says, I recently got a 2008 A4 but since day one I felt that the steering was very heavy, almost as if there were no power steering. I mentioned it at the time and the sales guy kind of brushed it off saying it was the Audi solid feel. My wife has a 2012 Passat and the difference between the steering is amazing, and it is starting to annoy me now. When parking etc it takes a bit of effort.

So , has anyone come across this before or is it a known fault?
Any ideas would be appreciated as I am an Audi newbie.
