Hello all,
I am new to the Audi world and just bought my first audi, a 2011 a4 premium plus with 18000 miles on it. I love the car, and now see why everyone always speaks so highly of Audi. But anyway, to get to my issue. The car came with an aftermarket exhaust system and after driving it for a day the check engine light came on when I pulled into the driveway. When I plugged my reader into it, it was showing 2 thrown codes for the catalytic converter. I assume this is due to the new aftermarket exhaust but was wondering how I can override these codes so they don't keep showing up, without going back to the stock exhaust.

Did they remove the cats when they put the system on? Not really heard of an exhaust system throwing a code before (unless cats were removed).

I don't think you can turn off the CEL notifications.
