I don't have the exact deff infront of me but that the width of the tire. I'll get you the exact one in a minute.

deff from tire rack with example size.
P225/50R16 91S

The 225 indicates this tire is 225 millimeters across from the widest point of its outer sidewall to the widest point of its inner sidewall when mounted and measured on a specified width wheel. This measurement is also referred to as the tire's section width. Because many people think of measurements in inches, the 225mm can be converted to inches by dividing the section width in millimeters by 25.4 (the number of millimeters per inch).

225mm ¿ 25.4 = 8.86"

o ok, thanks man. I kno the 60 in 205/60 is the "height of the tire" or the "profile"

What are you looking to do? I still have my 16's and I run a 235 on mine. you just have to make sure that the tire diameter stays the same and measurements like that can be found for what ever tire you are looking for.

well im gonna start doing some autoxing, so if (which i already i kno i will) i get hooked, im gonna look for a set of lightweight wheels with a good track tire for the weekend runs. I'm thinking 17's will be the best for the track with a good competition tire.

idk yet, im gonna see how my tires are gonna do when i go in november. Got the remus coming already, and hopefully gonna get coilovers before or a short time after my first runs. When i got the car, the treads were almost bald, so my dad being the nice guy he is went out and got me 4 new tires...which was awesome of him but they are Ventus all seasons. So i dont think those with stock suspension is gonna hold too well. Idk if you saw these already...but look at that body roll!! http://photobucket.com/albums/b189/BRchamp05/ o yea and when i decide to drop the cash and get the coilovers (h&r's from the site i got the good deal on the remus, but just wanna see how things work out with them first) im just gonna go ahead and get the B&M short shifter for 179.60 shipped.
