I have a 98 A4Q. Can I use 235/45/17 (on factory style 03 A4 wheels) without any rubbing problems? Or would 225/45/17 be better?

I am thinking of buying wheels on ebay

i dont see why not u can probly fit up to 8.5 and the stock 17s are 7.5 and i say the 235s will be ok

 

thats the 17in sport wheels that came with my 2003 A4 and the tires on it were 234/45/17. you should be fine using that on your B5. i sold my set to a B5'er and no problems. it looks good too.
