Default 23psi on a ko3 to much?

finaly got my n75J valve working properly by doin the diode mod(i am chipped with apr 91), spikes at like 23-25psi depending gear and levels off at 18-20 psi depending gear. just wondering if thats to much for the wee lil ko3 to handle?
Thanks

i'm not positive, but i'm pretty sure anything over 20psi on a k03 is risky

maybe get a mbc so it doesnt get that high?

it's not totally unheard of or bad.. you should stay in the 20psi and lower area though. the ko3 is more efficient around that area for a long haul..

getting it to spike at 21psi would be good

blah its fine man my brother spikes up there too dont worry about it just remember to cool your turbos before shutting of the car.....and i remember i read an article on the k03 and it said that it was capable of 36psi....never heard of somone running em that high but i bet it wouldnt be good after awhile lol deff gotta look for that article again.

noooooo, running 23psi on a k03 is doing nothing but hurting your car. A k03 cant support that much boost, this turbo is seriously smaller than a safeway doughnut.

Your car would be much better running at 18psi and spiking around 20-21... trust me

The only thing that is in danger is your turbo, it would take much higher psi or a broken sensor to hurt the engine. but if the ko3 can handle 36 psi your fine.

Here's the thing I don't understand you say 23psi killed your K03. Now K03 and K04 are very similar right? So how is it that some of the guys on AZ (I'll get names) are running 28psi on there Ko4? And correct me if I'm wrong but dosn't the P-16 file run near 28psi? I'm not saying it's good but it is being done

There are a couple different files for the k04. It's actually the j-31 file which spikes to 28 psi dbw cars. The pc16 is for ndbw and it spikes around 22-25 depending on weather and supporting mods. But, from what I've read most people get a mbc to lower the spikes and try to hold around 22-24 on the j31 file.
