Default 300hp+ in a 1.8T

Hi, would a 2002-2004 1.8T tiptronic be able to handle 300 horse? Also what would I need to get to 300 horsepower? I am looking at big turbos, chip, filter, exhaust, anything else that would make it worth my while? How much would this cost?

I am sorry for the newbie questions, but I am just about to switch over to audis, and I need help and power.

300 hp. you would need chip, exaust, high flow intake or modded airbox, bigger fuel injectors, and a big turbo. with that , you could run up to even 350 HP

that will take some bank. a chip is around 500. exaust is 700-1000. turbo if you go with apr. you get the chip with it and headers, but for a whopping 4.5k. you could go with ATP and get a turbo kit for about 1.5k that would give you 300 whp. around 250 crank HP

iono if tip can handle that. im a mnaual guy. talk to the auto people for that one.

ALso, the stock clutch is rated for only 300 cranh HP. id suggest getting a new one at anything over like 250-275 crank HP.

so if u do this.

you will defanitly need a new clutch. or all you would do is smoke ur clutch on every start and every shift.

tip might need to be reinforced with lvl 10 work. i dont think the stock tip will handle that much ponies without going bad.

but dont quote me on that.

You will need a manual with an upgraded clutch.

You didn't buy the car yet it sounds like, so find a manual.
