Default 500 to spend on system, box, amp, and amp kit

I was surfing ebay and I wanted to know if there is such a deal? I am on a pretty tight budget but I am looking for two subs (infinity, jl, etc..) in a box with amp and amp kit for sale. Do I have an unrealistic price range or can it be done? Also, how much do you think instalation run me? I have NO knowledge of any technical aspect and need someone to take care of the wiring in and stuff. Would best buy do it or am I better off at a car audio place?

If you guys have any advice to offer...could you tell me the exact name brand and model so I know...thanks

-Danny

If you are going to get it installed and that is part of your budget...you're in trouble...also it would seem that Audi's aren't the easiest cars to modify aftermarket so I might steer clear of my local Best Buy...at least go to a place that sells higher end equipment...in my experience Circuit City is better than Best Buy but if I wanted it done to perfection I would take it to Tweeter but this also makes it more expensive...if you want that setup I would pray that someone posts something on ebay older and used...cuz as it stands right now...that's next to impossible...

If you were on a budget the best bang for your buck is probably two JL W6 12" subs...search ebay you'll find some stuff...

Everyone has their own opinions on Amps...whatever you do...a cap is always a good idea....

And also unless you are absolutely into earth rattling bass...a single sub will be more affordable and sufficiently crave the need...you will also save money on one less sub and you won't need as powerful an amp...

I am not trying to be an *** but unless you can find some crack head 500 will not get you to far.
I would get a chip or flash if you do not have one yet, if you only have 500.

But Ebay is your best bet for a deal in that price range, but condition may be bad.

This is prolly not the site to ask this Q, as most of us are more performance geared instead of audio, same goes for the zine. Maybe check audiworld.

I installed the Infinity basslink 10" sub/amp, I paid about $280 for it, and installed it myself. It sounds good not too much bass but just enough to make the music sound fuller. If you want earth shattering bass this probably is;nt the way to go.

Ill sell you 2 JL Audio 12w0's in the JL Powerwedge box with a JL Audio 250/1 Mono amp with wiring kit for 475 shipped. The install is up to you though. Box and amp in perfect condition, and it sounds great. Only reason i want to sell is to get 1 12 casue i need alittle more trunk space. Box fits in trunk opening fine too.

If I was you, I'd just get one GOOD 10 or 12" sub (depending on your music preferences) and a good amp. And yes, build your box. You could probably get a 12W6 and a 500/1, which would OWN. leaves you money for a decent wiring kit, and installation if your afraid to do it yourself. the 500/1 wont hold you back if you later wanted a better, or extra sub. but two cheap 12's will sound like crap. W3's are almost as good as W6's too, just so you know.

eBay is good, but shipping a big box, and sub woofers, is very very expensive. Shipping would prolly eat 100 of his 500 dollar budget. I run a single 10W7, and it beats the snot out of 3 lesser 10" subs (type R's for instance). Oh, I'm using a 500/1 too, for my sub amp. Alpine MRV-540 for my speaker amp, and an alpine 7897 head unit (soon to be a 7998)
