Time to do some searching.. Tons of "what oil" threads. Mobil 1, Amsoil, Castrol, Royal Purple are some favorites. Anything that is full synthetic VW 502.xx spec is good stuff.

Mobil1 isn't a full synthetic anymore, its a mix. I stopped using it.

the thread is bogus im sure because I was involved in the production and I can assure you its better than standard oil
