this thread is like so many other kids with audis. not disrespecting kids I'm 19 with an 2001 S4 which is somewhat common in this area now. Its gonna be like whats the biggest rims I can put on there, how fast can I go with it. Let me see if driving it into a ditch will still make it run properly.............. I am in debt for 5 years from this car and I love every day of it. You're car was probably paid in full. You sound around 17 could you pay that car off in full with your own money?

 

lol, i don't think my parents ever spent more than 100 bucks on me for any present ever.

 

I got my A4 for my B-day also, on July 7, 2005 . I love my car, and not complaining about anything but Audi chargin an arm and a leg for labor charges.

 

damn, i wish my parents threw a brand new audi at me...i think its more the spoiled rich kid thing that makes him ungrateful, not the age... i am 18 and worked my a$$ off just to afford a really nice 7k audi, and working for it i got exactly what i wanted (99.5 t q m) ... his car will probably be totaled in a week just so he can get that volvo then realize...this isnt nearly as nice as that audi gee thanks mom and dad.

For my first car I got a 98 Dodge Caravan..ahaha......it was bright GREEN...we called it the GREEN BEAST! nah, but be happy with what you have man, Id love that car even if it doesnt have quattro. I worked my a** off and got myself a Pearl White 98.5 Audi A4 Quattro Tip a little after my 18th bday. I wanted manual but could not find another a4 that was in better condition that this one (immaculate) and completly packaged out. I love it, and hey, its still a 5 Speed!

 

Dmn those parents of yours!!! Haha...I still live with my parents, so I consider myself lucky that I don't have to pay for school (local JC) or rent, or even food. But I wouldn't feel right if I got a $40k car for a birthday present. Sure it would be bad ***, but I sure as hell wouldn't COMPLAIN about it. If you don't like the car, sell it, get your Volvo, and go join a Volvo forum. I'm 18, worked my *** off, and sold my first love (1989 Toyota Pickup 4x4) to buy my 1998 A4QTS.

 

Good god, I couldn't believe my eyes reading this thread. I hope you're not one of those spoiled brats on my super sweet 16... YOU GOT A DAMN NICE CAR. I'm glad you're going to live with it. Even though its FWD who cares, it was a PRESENT!.

 

I got mine for my 18th b-day. Its not brand new. 97 A4 2.8 QT. I worked my *** off and raised enough money to buy it off my friend, but my mom bought it for me instead. So I'm not spoiled at all...I'm actually about to get a 2nd job to buy some mods for my car.

 

Uh, I wasn't talking about you... I was talking about the douche who was complaining about his brand new car...
