8 or 9 inch wide!!!??

Default 8 or 9 inch wide!!!??

i have a 2000 a4 1.8 how wide can i go with a 1 or 2 inch drop. they are 18s so please help me out, im ordering the wheels now!!

I’m pretty sure that 8.5 or 8 is best, with 9's you would probably be rubbing without rolling the fender lip which you might have to do anyway depending on tire size.

i run 18x9 and i rolled and tried to pull out the fenders and cut out the tops of the fender liner, and i still rub occasionally...and i stretched a 235 tire over the 9" wheel. Thats def the biggest possible in the front...i may try experimenting with the rear next yr though
