alright guys, here is what i am faced with. A guy came to the shop that i work at on the weekends and needed a new motor in his. He wants to return to stock because thats what his grandfather wants him to do. So, i can have a gtrs turbo, software(not sure what kind, but all his stuff came from atp so im assuming mika), inlet hose, and injectors for 800 dollars if i give hime my infectors and ecu. Now the problem, the cars are the same year but his is a fronttrak automatic and mines a quattro manual. So will it work? Also i work at vw and i can get the cooding off his ecu and just swap the codding for auto to man, but is that the only thing? Thanks, you never know, maybe ill be installing a gtrs turbo in my car this weekend.

 

im almost positive it will be fine... glad my grandfather is an old hot rodder haha

 

the turbo and every thing will work. only problem is the ecu might be different. make sure they are the same numbers and your good i think
