90k service

Default 90k service

1) I have a B6 quattro and it almost reaches 90k service, I want to know if anyone knows how much the timing kits cost and where to order them online + the laborif you had already done so.

2) How oftenare suppose to change the spark plugs because I had my done at 65K and I am not sure if I want to change it at 90k because the mechanic told me that it might crack the engine's head if you do it too oftern.

check out ecstuning.com i shop there all the time. I did my at some euroshop they charged $800 for everything. The only thing i did on my B6 since 90K is changed oil twice, snub mount, and put 710N. Runs great.

changing the spark plugs too much can crack an engine's head? now that's a first. if u did them at 65k and finally getting around to them now u rly should change them. as for timing belt parts check out ecstuning.com. should cost bout 1000 for parts and labor. well there u go that **** up there beat me : )

710N is an OEM replacement Diverted Valve(DV) for your turbo. I dont know if you have 1.8T or 3.0, last one dont need it.

Yes if u change the spark plugs even once it can damage your engine,if your a complete moron who feels the need to tighten em until they start spinning freely or cross thread em. If u hand tighten em then torque em to like 15-20 lbs your good. It's idiot proof.
