ok, i bought this audi a few days ago as a cheap run around, see the picture of it completly stock.

since that photo i've added the 17" audi bolero wheels, changed the tail lights to the 98 model andhad the door handles and side mirrors painted in silver to colour code it all .

What to do next?
im going to put a nice polished twin exhaust tip on, what size should the tips be? 2.5" or 2" or...?

what else do you guys recommend?

ummm...#1 put the damn steering wheel back on the left side of the car

 

where the heck did you get a car with the steering wheel on that side of the car?

 

would that make my car go faster or should i just spray paint it red?

I wouldn't waist my time with just putting tips on the exhuast I would get a new exhaust. Is your car a 1.8t or a 2.8 or is it some weird down under model? are you looking for performance?

 

unfortunatly its only a 1.8 non turbo. this car is purely a run around for daily tasks, dont want to clock up the kilometres on the other car. However, in saying that i still want the car to look good.

Being naturally aspirated and only 1.8ltr i didnt want to put a full exhaust on as it would soundterrible and would be pointless ( well the performance gain wouldnt justify the bad sound), i was thinking just the twin polished tip to give it a cleaner look.

 

Thats hot i dont think i could shift with my left hand it would be real f*ing weird. any way looks good man, start modding

 

Your going to have to either research yourself or find some euro members that know what the hell can be done with that engine. As for cosmetic things - its a lot of personal preference - check out the audi links up at the top of the page and you will find a lot of resources.

 

sorry should have mentioned earlier, only after cosmetic mods. Not even going to bother trying to make it go fast.

 

...a 1.8 NA...i have a 2.8 NA and its slow, i can just imagine the lack of power there is with a full liter less displacement and no force induction. wonder what the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times are?
