The doors use a vacuum lock system, so pulling the button to the unlock position won't help. I'm pretty sure you should be able to open them from the inside though. You might want to check the vacuum hoses to make sure nothing is punctured.

lol, this happened on my old audi, but only one of them stopped working... check the child locks, it could be as simple as that, its gotta be something simple... a door usually wont open because something is jammed or child locks are on or something easy... take it in, it should be an easy fix... dont jinx it tho lol

The child locks are on the side of the door and can be seen when you open it so it can't be that otherwise they would've opened from the outside so it has to be a vacuum hose that has been punctured.

You know all you guys are telling him to check child locks and things inside of the door, and im just thinking how are you going to do that when you can get the door open? might be kind of difficult to get the door panel off with the door locked because you cant open teh door...

Thats weird. I had the same problem with one of my doors on my old 4000Q. I would pull off the interior door panel and see whats going on. You may have to take out the rear seat. It should be possible. That is what I had to do with my 4000Q. It’s not the vacuum system because it only operates to lock and unlock. So manually unlocking the door should work as long as the vacuum system is not constantly running in the lock mode. In which case the front doors would also be locked. If a leak did occur while the door was locked you would still be able to manual unlock the doors. You can try manual pulling up on the lock **** while trying to open the door (from inside and out) plus a good shoulder bump. Hope this helps some. If all else fails just keep the windows down and have your kids jump in dukes of hazzard style.

Thats soo funny!

I had the same problem just with one side on my 96. NOTHING you can do, unless you rip apart your interiors. You can't get to anything without opening the door. I was soo frustrated with mine, but did NOT rip it all apart. I think after two weeks is just started working again and worked ever since. Just after it started working again, I took it all apart and gave it a good lube....

Good Luck!!
