get suspension and you can miss everything you would normaly hit. that way you can still go fast.

the 12v isn't the end of A4s. Check the 12v froum on audi world. I enjoy my 12v daily with a SS and a cheap ebay intake...

If you wanna pull some bigger numbers outa that 12v here's what i say

Intake
Headers
Exhaust
Regrinds(Cam shafts)
Adjustable timming pulley(to advance/delay timing)
Dump your a/c(the whole unit may not be for you def. not if you in the south like me)
switch to multiple drive belts instead of serpintine belt
Bore/stroke
Blueprint the engine

Thats all i can think of at the moment. That list prety much goes in order of ease and price. As far as finding kits and or Non-custom made parts for this(really im sure there is stuff for all of it cept maybe the new drive belt system that would have to be custom) well thats why i got a 1.8t

Oh here is a nifty way to gain at least a few hp for cheap.
1: the rubber seal at the back of your engine bay where the hood meets the car. take in out. A gain of at least 1 hp
2: if you live in a place where it dosnt get that cold.(I.E. Savannah 85 year round) run pure water in your radiator.

A cool Engine is a Happy Engine

It works on the same theory as a vented hood it allows hot air to escape from the engine bay keeping the engine a tad cooler maybe not quite 1hp but its around there

the only headers for those engines are insanely expensive and hard to find, and to change anything major, you need a stand alone system or to rip out old ecu and have somebody redo all your software custom to adjust things like timing and fuel delivery and what not, you would need it if you plan on boring as well, the best you can do with out any really major work is work on your intake tract and then maybe a custom exhaust
for suspension, ecstuning.com has a kit for our cars for 700, its bistein shocks and you can choose between HR sport spring or race springs, good luck
