97 afc 2.8 questions
Well i pulled the front end because my fan clutch went up. then i figured while im in there....
I pulled the fuel rail and am replacing the injectors, then I pulled the TB and cleaned that up, then I pulled the intake to clean and put new gaskets in. Then I figured I might as well change the timing belt even though its only got 40k on it. (car has 225k, currentlong blockhas 80k (I bought it used after my head got damaged from a broken valve spring)) So my questions are,
1) Is there a aftermarket intake and exhaust for my 12v, my current exhaust seems to have a leak.
2) I was going to pull the heads and have them redone but I am worried that I wont be able to get the timing right, is there a tech article on setting timing after the heads have been r & r? I might just take the engine to the dealer and have them do it now that it is out of the car, labor will be alot less.
3) when I get the heads redone, is there a place I can get upgraded valve springs.
