when i bought my A4 it was tampered with and had no line on the wastegate or compression line so i need to know how to hook up the turbo lines and my mbc??

plus i cant hear the turbo spool up or the blow of valvesurgeat all and it has no power at ALL!!! so i got a new turbo but need to know how the hoses are suposed to go! if anyone has pics or discription of what im talkin bout i would appreciate it big time

 

There should be a pressure line from the just post turbo to the n75 and then from the n75 to the wastegate. You either use these lines for the mbc or run it between the n75 and the wastegate.

 

what should a 97 a4 fwd 1.8t stock boost psi be my gauge hits 5 tops

 

Believe its 7-8psi. 5psi would be limp. Either your in limp or your running off the wastegate.

 

does a bov take place of thediriveter valve? and also i have a boost pressure sensor that is in the turbo intake tube does the turbo compression line go in one side and out the other to the waste gate? and if so i would just have to "T" in the mbc yes orno? thanks so much guys

 

bov replaces the dv yes. The boost sensor = n75 (refer back to post#2)

 

boost gauge reads just over 2-3psi w/ mbc all the way opened and closed and its hooked up right (i got three people make sure it is hooked up right) no leaks in the intercooler or intake wut else could be wrong? this turbo deal sux thanks for the help
