Hey just joined this forum so im happy about that so now the question.... (Remeber I just got this car a month ago so I'm a noob when it comes to cars)

I was reading up on the PES G2 supercharger and it keeps saying:
"PES has created the G2 supercharger system for the Audi 30V V6 (1998-on)."

How do I know if i have a 30V? Are 98 automatically a 30V?

On my engine it only says 5V so im thinking that it could not be or it could be 5 * 6 for each to get 30. I don't know.

You've got the 30v man. 5 valves per cylinder * 6 cylinders gives you 30 valves

 

Yes, you're right about the 5x6=30v.
