prelude had an edition with 200 hp and its a very low and wide car. My friend had it and it was quite fast so I don't know what u guys are talking about. I'd say if he has this version then it would be a good race.
Go to www.car-stats.com.
A '98 Prelude, whether it's a Type SH or not (just a difference on handling) is 195 or 200 hp. It's a 2.2L 16 valve DOHC. I think it's 0-60 time is roughly 7.0 stock. I used to have a '97 Civic EX VTEC w/ CAI, Headers, Exhaust and the Prelude was one car I had a goal of beating, which w/ that stuff I could.
The Prelude is lighter (I think around 2900 lbs.) You'd obviously outhandle it, but they're faster than the other guys have said (Sheek's right). It's roughly the same speed as an Integra GSR stock (1.8 DOHC VTEC, 170 hp) + 400 lbs.
It'd be a good race; You've got the chip, etc and roughly the same hp, and probably more torque because Honda's torque absolutely sucks along w/ Toyotas, etc. But you've got more weight. Race it and see what happens....and let us know!!!
